The New "Dynamic" Report: First-Ever Integration of Global Business Unit ESG Performance

In 2024, TCC completed its international expansion and formally transitioned into the group holding company, TCC Group Holdings. For the first time, the sustainable actions and ESG performance of the nine major global business units are integrated and presented in the 2024 Sustainability Report, covering 14 key markets across Taiwan, Mainland China, Turkey, Europe, Africa, Australia, and the Americas. Under the theme "Mobilis in Mobili—Change within Change," the report is not just a presentation of data and performance; it's an authentic record of TCC's continuous response to various challenges and its pragmatic and steady progress on this internationalization journey.

AI Chatbot Provides Convenient and Accurate Information Retrieval

As international attention on TCC grows, helping stakeholders fully access complex transformation information across different industries and regions is one of TCC's key missions as a multinational group. To coincide with the launch of the 2024 Sustainability Report, a new "AI Chatbot [TCC AI]" has been introduced. Its database is linked to annual reports, sustainability reports, various thematic reports, and the official websites of key subsidiaries. Users can ask questions directly, using generative AI to quickly and accurately search and integrate information from past years, significantly improving retrieval efficiency and helping readers understand complex information more easily. Initially, the service will be offered to investors and financial institutions and will be gradually expanded to other stakeholder groups to more effectively convey sustainable value.

E-book Connects Images and Videos to Enhance Readability and Engagement

The 2024 Sustainability Report is also being released in an e-book version for the first time. It incorporates many of TCC's important videos and dynamic content, using visuals to make the relatively dry text more accessible and easier to understand, deepening readers' knowledge of TCC. TCC is using the e-book to link existing video resources, which is a concrete way we are using digital tools to advance sustainability communication with stakeholders.

TCC is committed to continuing to concretely achieve our sustainable development goals through digitalization and people-centric care, embodying the corporate resilience of "Mobilis in Mobili—Change within Change." We will continue to uphold a pragmatic spirit and remain dedicated to fulfilling our commitments to the environment and society.

TCC Vision & Drivers
Carbon Competitiveness: TCC's global cement business units are following the SBT 1.5°C pathway to implement carbon reduction, with total carbon emissions in 2024 decreasing by 4% compared to the previous year. The proportion of renewable energy use continues to increase, and sustainable products account for 57% of revenue.
AI and Electrification Innovation: From electric mining, alternative fuel blending, cement process optimization, and quality control to equipment and green power efficiency monitoring, TCC is improving operational efficiency and safety.
Stable Funding Sources: The 2024 annual report aligned with sustainability disclosure standards (IFRS S1/S2) ahead of schedule, gaining strong support from green finance and issuing Taiwan's first SLCB (Sustainability-Linked Convertible Bond).
It's Now for NATURE: Land and marine biodiversity programs are aligning with the GBF framework and are being assessed and managed according to TNFD and SBTN, with the goal of achieving a Net-Positive Impact on Nature (NPI) by 2040.
