TCC Group Holdings today officially released its latest bilingual Sustainability Report along with its inaugural Just Transition Report. This marks the first consolidated disclosure of global sustainability practices and ESG performance since TCC’s transformation into a group holding company in May 2024. Covering operations across 14 key markets—including Taiwan, Mainland China, Turkey, Europe, Africa, and regions in the Americas and Oceania—the reports highlight TCC’s diversified sustainability initiatives spanning 11 industries.
To smooth the path for investors and research institutions toward efficiently navigating complex information, TCC has introduced the TCC AI Reading Assistant. The AI tool integrates the company’s annual reports, sustainability reports, and various thematic publications, providing precise AI-powered search capabilities to significantly improve information retrieval efficiency. The first phase will prioritize access for investment institutions, with gradual expansion to other stakeholder organizations to enhance the communication of sustainability values. In addition, the reports have been produced as dynamic e-books enriched with visuals and multimedia, creating a more engaging and accessible reading experience.
On low-carbon transition, TCC’s global cement operations continue to align with the SBT 1.5°C pathway, implementing robust decarbonization measures. In 2024, the company achieved a 4% reduction in total carbon emissions compared to the previous year, while Scope 1 net carbon intensity fell to 619 kg CO2e per ton of cementitious material—a significant milestone in the transition journey. The report also notes steady increases in renewable energy consumption and that sustainable products now account for 57% of total revenue.
For the first time, TCC has also released a standalone Just Transition Report, outlining how the company ensures fair treatment of employees, communities, and supply chain partners during its low-carbon transition through skills development and local stakeholder dialogue. Concrete initiatives include launching the “Carbon Reduction Parent-child Bankbook” program in Hualien’s Ho-Ping Industrial Zone and retraining employees at Mainland China plants to for new-launches autonomous mining trucks. The report underscores that“trust” is the key to achieving sustainable development.
TCC reaffirms its commitment to advancing sustainability goals through digitalization and people-centered practices, embodying the company’s resilience under its guiding motto: Mobilis in Mobili — Change within Change.
