Advancing Carbon Reduction: TCC Signs SBT 2050 Net Zero Commitment, Sets 1.5°C Target

In 2020, TCC completed its science-based targets (SBT) goal-setting, becoming the first cement company in East Asia to do so, with 2016 as the base year. For seven consecutive years, TCC has effectively met its targets.

In July 2024, TCC further signed the 2050 Net Zero Commitment and set the most ambitious 1.5°C carbon reduction pathway. TCC’s global cement operations, including CIMPOR and OYAK, are all members of the SBT 1.5°C initiative. TCC Group Holdings is fully implementing climate action.
