TCC supports and participates in initiatives related to climate change, circular economy, biodiversity, and the development of new technologies. The company actively engages with various public associations on sustainability issues. The 2023 Climate-related Public Participation and Management Regulations applies to the Company and its subsidiaries, joint ventures, other affiliates having any substantial controlling or subordinate relationship with the Company in Taiwan or overseas
Organization / Association Participation
TCC funds more than NTD 10 million per year in more than 50 domestic and international organizations / associations such as Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA), Taiwan Cement Manufacturers’ Association (TCMA), the Climate Group, and TNFD. TCC helps to set sustainability policies regarding climate change, circular economy, and R&D of new technologies
TCC supports domestic cultural development. This funding includes contributions to development, supporting the C.F. Koo Foundation's preservation of traditional operas and arts (TCC donates C.F. Koo Foundation NTD 10.5 million annually), and sponsoring events such as the Yilan International Children's Folklore & Folkgame Festival and the Lanyang Mazu Cultural Festival.
