100% of the Employees Are Eligible for ESOP

TCC launched its Employee Stock Option Program (ESOP) in 2019, matching monthly employee contributions 1:1 into a trust. Two annual lump sums are also allowed, with a 10% company match. Employees nearing age 60 receive enhanced support for retention and retirement planning.

Employee Savings Mutual Fund

TCC encourages employee savings with age-based deposits made in January and July. The Employee Welfare Commiee adds 50%, and all funds go into a benefit trust. In 2024, 1,325 employees joined, totaling over NT$2.3 million.

Treasury Shares Program

TCC has established the Treasury Shares Program as a long-term incentive, linking performance evaluations to sustainability goals like carbon reduction. Employees in Taiwan or overseas subsidiaries with outstanding performance are eligible.

Workplace Stress Management

Employee Assistance Program (EAP): In 2025, TCC will launch its EAP, offering one-on-one counseling services in Mandarin, Taiwanese, English, and Japanese. The program will cover topics such as mental health, physical well-being, parenting, legal matters, financial planning, and organizational management.
On-site Health Services: Free 20-minute monthly consultations with doctors or nurses are available to discuss mental health, stress management, and disease prevention.
Stress Relief Seminars: Seminars are conducted periodically by physical therapists or counselors to help employees with stress management and health promotion.
Break Areas: The Group Operations Headquarters features a Total Care Commitment Center, which includes an open office area, a small library, and a gaming zone.
Travel Allowance: An annual travel subsidy of up to NT$15,000 is offered to encourage employees to travel and relax. In 2024, 1,409 employees applied, receiving total subsidies of NT$17,594,717.
 

Sport & Health Initiatives

Employee Cafeteria: Operating locations feature cafeterias with meal subsidies, enabling employees to enjoy nutritious meals at significantly reduced prices.
Fitness Centers: The Group Operations Headquarters and major plants are equipped with 24/7 fitness centers, featuring aerobic rooms, pool tables, basketball machines, and premium massage chairs.
Health Promotion Activities: All operating locations in Taiwan provide annual free quadrivalent flu vaccines. In the past two years, 1,371 vaccinations were administered. In 2024 alone, the investment amounted to over NT$3.52 million.

  • General Health Examinations: The company provides comprehensive health examinations. Employees with medium-to-high health risks receive confidential recommendations based on their results.

  • Specialized Health Examinations: These examinations cover occupational hazards such as noise, dust, and ionizing radiation. On-site health services at each location monitor employee health, allowing for work duties to be adjusted based on an individual's health status.

Employee Healthy Living Festival: This festival promotes healthy living through an APP-based calorie challenge and point collection system, encouraging employees to adopt healthy lifestyle habits.
Sports Event Subsidies: We encourage participation in team sports and corporate exchanges by subsidizing competition and training for events like the Sun Moon Lake Swim and Dragon Boat Races. These initiatives strengthen employee cohesion and well-being. In 2024, total subsidies amounted to NT$1,359,321.
Club Subsidy: TCC encourages the formation of and participation in employee clubs, offering professional coaching and an annual subsidy of up to NT$80,000 per club. In 2024, 308 employees applied, with total subsidies of NT$465,030.

Hybrid Agility to Work-Time Difference Leave: Employees working across time zones may apply for time difference leave the following morning.
Flexible Office Attendance: Employees can adjust their working hours as needed, with flexible attendance periods available. In 2024, 239 employees applied.

Hybrid Agility to Work-Working-from-Home: Office employees with childcare needs for children under 12 may work from home 3 days monthly.
Childcare Facilities or Contributions

Childbirth And Maternity Benefits and Subsidies: TCC offers NT$10,000 for the first child, NT$20,000 for the second, NT$50,000 for the third, plus an additional celebration bonus. In 2024, 192 employees applied, with total subsidies amounting to NT$1,479,000. 650 TCC Babies were born between 2017 and 2024.
Medical Subsidy: Annual medical subsidies of up to NT$40,000 cover outpatient services (including NHI and self−paid), dental care, and health examinations for employees and their family members. In 2024, 1,372 employees applied, with total subsidies amounting to NT$29,298,174.
Contracted Nurseries: School supplies are provided upon enrollment. Some nurseries offer tuition discounts for families enrolling two or more children.
Children's Education Incentive: Scholarships are provided to encourage employees' children based on academic credentials and grades. In 2024, 514 employees applied, totaling NT$5,878,000.
Comprehensive Care: This program provides vouchers for holidays, Labor Day, and birthdays, as well as wedding gifts, funeral condolence payments, and group insurance (life and accident) that extends to family members.
Emergency Loans: Interest-free loans of up to NT$300,000 are available to assist employees facing short-term financial hardship or disrupted children's education.
Overtime Work Transport Program: Employees working late on urgent projects or temporary assignments are provided with company-sponsored taxi rides home. In 2024, total subsidies amounted to NT$263,535.
Green Transportation Subsidy: TCC offers a one-time electric scooter subsidy of NT$15,000 and an annual shared scooter riding credit of NT$200. In 2024, the subsidies totaled NT$780,000.

Breast-Feeding/Lactation Facilities or Benefits

Nursing Room: Facilities are available at all operational locations, with unlimited access during lactation. This time is counted as regular working hours.
Nursing Care Service: Pregnant employees receive one prenatal and one postnatal consultation, along with occasional phone calls for health education. In 2024, on-site services totaled 551 uses.

Paid Parental Leave for the Primary Caregiver
  • Taiwan: Female caregivers (primary caregivers) are entitled to 8 weeks of fully paid maternity leave and 6 months (26 weeks) of parental leave compensated at 80% of their insured salary.

  • Mainland China: Female caregivers (primary caregivers) are entitled to 14 weeks (98 days) of paid maternity leave, which can be extended to 26 weeks (188 days) subject to local regulations. Additionally, they are provided with up to 10 days of paid parental leave annually for children under three.

Paid Parental Leave for the Non-Primary Caregiver
  • Taiwan: Non-primary caregivers (spouses) are entitled to 7 days of fully paid paternity leave and 6 months (26 weeks) of parental leave compensated at 80% of their insured salary.

  • Mainland China: Non-primary caregivers (spouses) are entitled to up to 30 days of fully paid paternity leave, in accordance with local regulations. They also receive up to 10 days of paid parental leave annually for children under three.

Paid Family or Care Leave Beyond Parental Leave

Hybrid Agility to Work - Paid Family Care Leave: TCC offers 3 days of paid leave, exceeding legal requirements. In 2024, 157 employees applied, totaling 2,684 hours.
Paid Personal and Sick Leave: Employees are entitled to 3 days of fully paid leave to support them through various life events.

Employee Family Relationships & Bonding Promotion

Family Day: TCC hosts an annual family day, inviting employees and their families to enjoy a day together.
Parent-Child Volunteering: Employees and their children are recruited for the Cement Academy's three-day, two-night SDGs Sustainable Innovation Camp, with meals, accommodation, and transport provided.
Paid Volunteer Leave: A half-day volunteer leave is granted for 3 hours of service, and a one-day leave for 6+ hours, up to 2 days per year. TCC collaborates with external charities, regularly hosting diverse volunteer activities in operating counties and cities. Basic volunteer training aligned with Ministry of Health and Welfare guidelines is offered, covering service ethics, experience sharing, and regulations. Through caring for the elderly or disadvantaged, making Lunar New Year gift boxes or cement crafts, and assisting with home repairs, TCC fosters diverse social engagement beyond the workplace.
